Pastor Tim is the proud husband of Apostle Mia Gentry. He has five kids: Corey, Mykia, Shawndrea, Demetrea, and Tim Jr. He has four grandchildren: Kaleigha, Anna, Tim III, and Yuri. Pastor Tim is the son of the late Linda Gentry and was raised by Ida Gentry in Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Tim is employed by Michelin Tires and he is a silent partner at Growing Minds Daycare with Apostle Mia Gentry. Pastor Tim along with his wife, Apostle Mia Gentry, are the shepherds of Body Builders Christian Ministries located in Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Tim gave his life to Christ in 1997, and has walked faithfully before Him ever since. Pastor Timothy is a profound teacher with the ability to teach God's word with simplicity and insight. He is a no non-sense man of God who is known for his wisdom, wealth of knowledge and tremendous strength. Pastor Timothy teaches the men of BBM Rebirth to both be men of God while being men their wives can depend upon. He loves to instill everyday skills into the brethren in hopes they will be legacy builders who teach those coming behind them to be men in every way needed for their families. Apostle Mia Gentry
Apostle Mia Gentry is the proud wife of Pastor Timothy D. Gentry and mother of four wonderful children Mykia, Shawndrea, Demetrea, and Timothy Jr. Apostle Mia was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Wright in Long Island New York. Though born in NY she was raised in Seaside California by her grandfather and step grandmother the Late Reverend William B. Dixon. Apostle Mia has lived in several cities in the US as a result of a very unstable childhood, and has overcame many obstacles with the help of the Lord.
Apostle Mia Gentry attended Spartanburg High School. In pursuit of her nursing degree she attended Spartanburg Technical College as well as University of Phoenix for her bachelor's degree in human and health administration. Apostle Mia later became a Pharmacy Technician believing that she had found her career only for God to tell her to leave her job, and start a business out of her home. Because of God, She is now the owner of a growing daycare in the Spartanburg area.
As a young girl she gave her heart to Jesus Christ after having glimpses of the prophetic mantel upon her life since her youth. Apostle Mia has always felt a very strong desire to live for God even while in a back sliden state she knew that God had work for her to do. Apostle Mia rededicated her life to Christ in 1994 giving herself to the master whole heartedly. She accepted her call to preach the gospel, and was licensed and ordained to the office of an Evangelist in 2003. She faithfully served in her local ministry at that time as the armor bearer to the First Lady, while also leading the praise and worship team, and directing the choir.
God called Apostle Mia to be interim pastor of Greater Life Ministries in April of 2008 and after her one-year tenure, she founded Body Builders Christian Ministries in October of 2009. Apostle Mia received her bachelor’s degree in theology at Carolina College of Theology in June of 2016. In June of 2017, Apostle Mia received her master’s degree. She obtained her Doctor of Theology in June of 2023. This woman of God is an intercessor, prophetic psalmist, preacher, teacher, and prophetess who yields to the leading of the Holy Spirit. She is a much sought out minister with a very unique preaching style, accompanied by a powerful prophetic, and healing anointing. God is using in her in this season to declare his heart to his people.
Apostle Mia and Pastor is covered by her Apostle Perry E. Davidson and Pastor Georgia Davidson of Victory Temple Christian Church. They are also a part of Right Direction Fellowship of Pastors lead by the spiritual covering of Dr. Herbert and Dr. Marcia Bailey of Right Direction Church International of Columbia SC.
Apostle Mia’s favorite scripture is Jude 1:24 which declares; now unto him who is able to keep us from falling and present us faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding great joy. She believes firmly that GOD’s call upon your life is always more powerful than Satan’s power to block your destiny, she is convinced that his power will bulldoze through every satanic barrier and push you into your prophetic destiny.
